We decided to terminate our Drip Irrigation Project...
Reason - Campesino goals were not met...
Taking farm matters into our own hands...
We build our first free range area for our Pig Project...
We decided to convert our cow barn into a pig barn...



November 8.2010...
We buy our first three hybrid pigs from local argi university UNA...
We bought two females - one male...
To begin our pig farm...


November 24.2010
We made our first pig concentrate with our farm grown Yellow Corn...
A complete success...


January 4.2011
We relocated our first 208 liter Drip Irrigation water tank to our free range area...
Tank used for pig drinking water...


January 4.2011...
We add a fourth male non hybrid pig...
To fatten for sale...

We relocated our 1928 liter water tank to our pig free range area...
Tank was used in our Drip Irrigation Project...
We used original tank support structure...
Water tank is used for drinking water...
And to fill our pig mud pit...

We sell the first male non hybrid pig we fattened...

Six months after buying our first pigs...
With zero pig farm progress made with new partners...
My beautiful wife - my one of kind Honduran partner and myself...
Once again took farm matters into our hands...
It was difficult for me to face my family - and my Honduran partner...
It was very difficult for me to accept it seemed we were heading to another dead end...
I took full responsibility for our setback...
I apologized to my group...
Yet I refused to fall to my knees...
Many years of living on Honduran jungle river banks...
Had taught me...
Failure is not an option...
I asked my family and Honduran partner...
That I would not fail them...
To hold the line - one more time...
I said I would make right, or rectify my errors...
My family and Honduran partner agreed to assist me - again...
I truly thank the Great Spirit...
For surrounding me with such special people...
I truly thank the Great Spirit...
For showing me the path that will set me free...

My wife has eleven non hybrid piglets...

We will have 12 pig pens´...
We will use this covered area on a partial basis...
Each pig pen will drain into a central biodigestor...
PVC drains are of relocated 4 inch PVC pipe...
Our biodigestor will provide energy to our farm...
Our pigs will spend most of their time in the free range area...

To support our partnership with four Honduran NGO´s...
All projects failed...
Many have chastened me for the investment in these materials...
It has been very difficult for me...
I swore I would recoup all time - labor and money spent...
There is the cow barn...
You see the blue water tanks - a black water tank...
PVC pipe - we have 1.5 inch - 2 inch - 3 inch - and four inch PVC irrigation pipe...
Concrete blocks...
Wrought iron work...
Rebar...
Plastic tarps...
Unseen are PVC fittings - water filters - hose clamps - tools - nails - nuts and bolts - fence posts´ - fence wire - wire mesh...
And much more...

Stacked wood we bought in November 2010...
To rehab our cow barn into a pig barn...

We are using all materials to build our initial pig infrastructure...
A full return will be made on our investment of these materials...

What is interesting to me...
On December 26.2005...
At another Blog I had - Modblog
I posted how I would become a Pig King in Catacamas, Olancho, Honduras...
When I returned to Honduras in June 2006...
My family persuaded me to invest in cows...
Out of resentment I planted Jatropha...
Then switched to cows...
From there...
I tried several agri projects...
All did not reach expectations...

Now I back with the pig project I wanted to do in 2005...


Lessons Learned

Love myself...
Take 100% responsibility and work on myself...
Find out from within myself - why people oppose my humanitarian work...
What's going on in me that's causing our projects to fail?...
I must make right, or rectify my errors...
Allow the process of transmutation - by using Ho'oponopono or related processes...
I must unite three parts — which exist in every molecule of reality...
The Unihipili (child/subconscious)...
The Uhane (mother/conscious)...
The Aumakua (father/superconscious).
When this "inner family" is in alignment...
I will be in rhythm with the Divinity...
With this balance, my life will begin to flow...
Our projects will no longer fail...

  1. Wow, this is absolutely fantastic! And u understood what u had to learn, as stated by "lessons learned". I could tell u one thing, NEVER was there failure in anything at any moment. It was all part of the learning process.

    Perhaps ¨failure¨ is a strong word for me to use...
    ´Cause in our Farm pictures you do see what our farm has produced...
    And sold...
    That is not failure...

    My goal I started with was to create a center for my Campesino neighbors...
    To spread our work to their farm...
    So my Campesino neighbors can sustain their families as well...
    I rushed to bring Honduran NGO´s to our farm...
    But soon we were divided...
    I saw that Honduran NGO´s who were at our farm...
    Did not respect my Campesino neighbors...
    Therefore I terminated our working relationship...
    Which now I call failure...
    I failed my Campesino neighbors for not fulfilling my word to them...
    Each project closure cost me money...
    I terminated four projects...
    My family is not happy with me for this...

    Now that my funds are gone...
    My family and partner are looking at me with uncertain eyes...

    Today my focus is on my family...
    I am at a crucial point in my life Grace...
    My Campesino neighbors will have to wait...
    All I can do is show my Campesino Brothers my farm example...

    It seems when we have let the outside world onto our farm...
    We have problems...
    I want to discover why is this...
    Is it we have a mind set that is far different from many?...
    Apart from my family...
    And my Honduran partner Dennis...
    Why can I not attract another Tomas to our farm?

    My confusion is this Grace...
    What we do at our farm unhindered - works...
    Our farm animals give us plenty...
    Our crops - we sell - we use for our needs...
    The Great Spirit sends me messengers...
    Such as the Buttefly...
    The green Esperanzas...
    A rainbow...
    A sunset...
    To tell me...
    We are on the right path....
    Our sweat and labor is working...
    Yet I want to incorporate other organizations with us...
    We do not want to terminate another joint effort...

    I have returned to zero...
    I will explore my soul for answers...

    I do know today...
    Giving unconditional love...
    To all who meet me...
    Is one answer I seek...

  4. Those people who came to your farm and caused more problems then not, were not meant to be there, Tomas. In life, we sometimes have to sift through tons and tons of dirt, to find the gold, my friend. It just means you have to keep sifting until you strike gold again. And this doesn't mean those guys (although I do not know the nature of the problems) are bad people. It just means they're not at the same wavelength (frequency) as you, and therefore useless to YOUR visions of the farm.
    And no, you have not returned to zero. Perhaps zero money,yes, making it more challenging to do what you want to do at the pace you want... But money, in my view is completely irrelevent. The EXPERIENCE, and what you get from it, both good and not so good, is what counts.
    Sometimes, you have to step back and see the whole scheme with a non-critical view. The lessons are there.

    ¨Yes, that butterfly was a sign. And yes, u are right it means all is good, but it also has more meaning then that. Did u know that in some cultures butterflies like that symbolize the soul. The metamorphesis of a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly symbolizes change and a new
    beginning, but more precisely, it symbolizes the evolution of the soul to a higher state.
    The butterfly is also freedom--- it's wings symbolize the ability to rise above problems, having a free spirit, being uplifted and being care-free. So you've made it, my friend.
    That butterfly was a sign to you, that indeed, all is well, WITHIN you...
    So all those challenges that u categorized as failure, were, in the grand scheme of things, a great success.

  7. Hi Tomas! It's good you are still the dedicated worker you were when you started this enterprise! I think that farming is the most difficult business on earth there is and the way you do it is is even more complicated. It's beyond my comprehention how you manage to combine your daily work with your ideals. I wish you many friends like Grace, who give you good advice, and above all God's blessing! I wish you more visits of butterflies.
